Applied AI Solutions Engineer

## Recruitment for - Our client is a global industrial technology organization investing in modern software, data and AI capabilities. - You will have the opportunity to work on practical solutions across areas such as operations, planning, process optimization, quality, supply chain, decision support and business automation. ## About the project - The role sits between software engineering, data, AI and business. You will work directly with stakeholders, understand their problems and quickly turn available data into working applications, data products and AI-enabled solutions. - This is a global role involving regular cooperation with international business teams and operational sites. - You will have the opportunity to work on practical solutions across areas such as operations, planning, process optimization, quality, supply chain, decision support and business automation. ## This is how we work - in house - you focus on a single project at a time - you have influence on the technological solutions applied - you have influence on the product - you focus on product development - agile ## Team members - devOps - data scientist ## Your responsibilities - Work directly with business stakeholders to understand problems and processes - Turn ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions - Build applications, data products, simulations, optimizers and AI-enabled workflows - Connect and work with data from different enterprise and operational sources - Use tools such as Claude Code, Codex and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development - Build and integrate LLM, RAG and agentic solutions where they create real value - Validate solutions with users and real data and iterate quickly - Own solutions end-to-end from discovery through implementation and adoption - Work with IT, Data and Platform teams to scale successful solutions - Strong hands-on software engineering skills - Very good Python and SQL - Commercial experience with Databricks - Experience with Microsoft Azure - Experience building real applications or data products - Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, testing and code quality - Practical experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex or GitHub Copilot - Understanding of modern LLM, RAG and agentic architectures - Strong communication skills and a consulting mindset - Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders and translate business problems into technical solutions - Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis ## Optional - Technology consulting or client-facing engineering background - Manufacturing, operations or supply chain exposure - Optimization, simulation or operations research experience - Machine Learning or Data Science background - UX or product design experience ## What we offer - International working environment - Employee recognition program based on company values - Subsidized MultiSport card - Holiday allowance, including subsidies for children's summer camps - Subsidized cinema and Energylandia tickets - Private medical care with the option to extend coverage to family members - Free psychological, legal and financial counselling - Group life insurance ## This is how we work on a project - code quality measures - code review - DevOps - testing environments - unit tests ## Development opportunities we offer - conferences abroad - development budget - external training - mentoring - technical knowledge exchange within the company ## Benefits - private medical care - life insurance ## LHH Recruitment Solutions - Our client is a global industrial technology organization investing in modern software, data and AI capabilities.
