AI/ML Engineer (Senior/Regular) – GenAI

- You will join a central AI team developing modern Generative AI solutions for construction software products. The project focuses on building scalable, reusable AI capabilities, including LLM-based applications, RAG pipelines, AI agents, tool use, orchestration, and evaluation frameworks. - You will work on both prototyping and production-grade AI systems, help establish engineering standards and best practices, and contribute to AI-native software development and automation. - Project details: - Work model: 100% remote - Contract: B2B - Rate: up to 120 PLN/h nett + VAT - Start: ASAP - Project model: Outsourcing - Recruitment process: 2 stages – HR interview + technical interview with the Hiring Manager - Engagement: Full-time ## This is how we work - at the client's site ## Your responsibilities - Design and develop production-grade GenAI solutions, including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, tool use, and orchestration. - Build reusable AI capabilities and services that can be adopted across multiple products. - Design and implement AI evaluation frameworks focused on quality, reliability, latency, cost, and grounding. - Develop AI-native engineering practices, including Spec-Driven Development, AI-assisted development, and automated testing. - Ensure AI solutions meet standards for security, observability, governance, reliability, and responsible AI use. - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders, while supporting other engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing. - 5+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on experience with production AI systems. - Strong Python programming skills. - Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, tool/function calling, and orchestration. - Practical experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms. - Experience designing and delivering end-to-end AI systems from APIs and data/retrieval layers to cloud infrastructure and production deployment. - Experience with AI evaluation and testing, including quality, reliability, grounding, latency, and cost. - Understanding of AI-assisted development, Spec-Driven Development, and modern AI developer tools. - Strong software architecture skills and ability to design reusable, scalable AI solutions. - English – minimum B2/C1. ## Optional - Commercial experience with Machine Learning and ML systems. - Experience with LangChain, LangGraph or LlamaIndex. - Knowledge of MLOps, MLflow and CI/CD. - Experience with Kubernetes and Docker. - Experience with vector databases, embeddings and semantic search. - Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services or AWS Bedrock/SageMaker. - Experience with LLM observability, AI governance and responsible AI. - Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI coding agents. - Experience with FastAPI and AI/ML APIs. ## What we offer - 100% remote work – work from anywhere in Poland - Medicover - Medicover Sport ## Benefits - sharing the costs of sports activities - private medical care ## Recruitment stages - Initial recruiter screening - 1st HR interview - Technical meeting with Hiring Manager ## SQUARE ONE RESOURCES sp. z o.o. - At Square One Poland we link IT experts with the business.
